We also have voluntary field trips and activities throughout the year that you may wish to participate in.  You can visit some of Calgary's well-known attractions such as the Science Centre, the Zoo, The Calgary Stampede, or the world's largest dinosaur museum in the world, The Royal Tyrell Museum. dinosaurs

Opened in 1985, the Royal Tyrrell Museum is known the world over as an outstanding palaeontology museum and research facility. There are ten signature galleries and feature exhibitions that celebrate the spectacular history and diversity of life on Earth. The museum is located in Drumheller, about 1hr 30 min from Calgary . horses

Spruce Meadows is a first class equestrian facility, which is world-renowned. Several international horse jumping competitions are hosted here each year. Visit their web site for more information at: www.sprucemeadows.com

kids

A visit to the Glenbow Museum is planned for our students. This museum is both an art gallery and a museum. It is home to the permanent Blackfoot exhibition as well as numerous temporary exhibitions. It is the largest museum in Western Canada . Visit their web site at: www.glenbow.org
stampede

Each year millions of visitors from around the world come to Calgary to partake in the annual event, the Calgary Stampede . As Calgary 's most popular tourist attraction, 'the greatest outdoor show on earth' one can enjoy a real rodeo, a midway, concerts, shows, chuckwagon races and much, much, more. Finally, you can also join other students around the world for various full day trips or longer to world-famous tourist destinations in Alberta such as Banff National Park , Lake Louise , and Jasper, where you can enjoy the magnificence and beauty of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
